  • The widest human tooth was extracted from the mouth of 9 year old Shane Russell of Canada. It was 0.6 inches wide while most teeth are half that size.
  • A tooth that supposedly belonged to singer John Lennon was auctioned to Canadian Michael Zuk for $36,857, becoming the most expensive tooth.
  • Joyce Walen of the U.S. still had a baby tooth when she was 87 years old, making her the owner of the oldest baby tooth.
  • The longest human tooth extracted measured at 1.26 inches when it was removed from the mouth of Loo Hui Jing in Singapore.

  • Daniel Sanchez-Ruiz became the youngest person to wear full dentures at the age of 3 because he had hypohydrotic ectodermal dysplasia, a disorder that prevents the growth of teeth.
